Why Monthly Pest Control is a Must: And Why Bi-Monthly or Quarterly Services Just Don’t Cut It

Let’s talk facts.Climate change has completely changed the pest control game. Warmer winters, unpredictable rainfall, and longer breeding seasons have made pests harder to manage—and more tolerant to treatments.

Back when seasons were predictable, bi-monthly or quarterly services were fine. Not anymore. In today’s Texas climate, just one good rain or a heat wave can cut the effectiveness of a treatment in half—or wipe it out entirely.

The service includes two treatments spaced 7 days apart, effectively disrupting the flea life cycle and safeguarding your home and yard.

German cockroach infestations are particularly challenging due to their rapid reproduction rates. Our specialized service addresses this issue with an initial treatment followed by a scheduled 7-day follow-up to ensure its effectiveness.

To maintain control and eliminate the infestation, we provide ongoing monthly service appointments until the issue is fully resolved.

Mosquitoes and ticks pose significant health risks and can interfere with outdoor activities. Our seasonal Mosquito & Outdoor Tick service is designed to help you reclaim your yard during the peak mosquito months, typically between March and November, though timing may vary with weather conditions.

This service integrates multiple control methods to eliminate active mosquitoes and ticks while preventing their reproduction, ensuring you can enjoy your outdoor spaces throughout the warmer months. Services continue until paused by the agreement party and resume in the following season.

Our standard rodent control service includes outdoor bait boxes and garage sticky traps, with regular checks and refills at every visit.

Our technicians conduct a thorough inspection and strategically install monitoring bait stations in identified hot zones around your home.

For active indoor rodent infestations, we offer an advanced rodent control package. This service includes an interior inspection by our expert technician to identify the rodent species, food sources, nesting sites, and high-traffic areas.

Beyond standard measures, this package incorporates minor exclusion work such as sealing structural gaps and setting mechanical traps as needed, providing a comprehensive solution to eliminate indoor rodent issues.

Take Overs

Curious about takeovers? Here’s what you need to know:
A takeover applies to customers who already have a Sentricon® Termite Baiting System installed on their property. By law, each bait station and its associated property remain under Sentricon’s ownership and are tracked using unique serial numbers linked to the original installing company. This process ensures accurate monitoring and accountability.

When Honest Pest Services takes over your account, we replace the existing system with our own registered Sentricon® baiting stations. This ensures you receive continued, top-tier protection with the added benefits of our expertise and dedication to your termite control needs.

Important: There’s a yearly maintenance fee of either $660 – $720 Your monthly payments cover that cost. Bait stations are services once a year per regulations.
